Seed Tech III YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES + Operate equipment and systems in own area and alignment with existing procedures, promoting standardization and ensuring efficient production processes + Alert senior technicians and leadership as needed when non-conformities in product or process variance occur + Assistin the preparation,reviewand approval for key process documentation + HelpfacilitateTeam meetings (multiple levels) and drive effective shift handover collaborating with peers and across shifts to drive performance improvement + Support area by keeping metrics and other information current on visual boards/data dashboards to drive teamwork, support data-driven decisions andfacilitateshift changes + Demonstrate knowledge ofand adherenceto company's Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) and Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) standards + Comply withinternal procedures and support compliance with legal requirements applicable to local area + Promote standardization and ensure efficient production processes + Manage partnership with key business partners to greenhouse production operations Identify opportunities to improve performancein accordance withproduction area,siteand company goals + Perform cleaning, basic mechanical maintenance, and preventative maintenance on area equipment Participates in multi-functional and cross-site collaboration HSE Program subject matter expert + Perform other duties and tasks as assigned WHO YOU ARE Bayer seeks an incumbent whopossessesthe following: Required Qualifications: + High School Diploma or GED with at least 2 years ofdemonstratedperformance/experience in related area OR BS with minimal experience + Basic knowledge of information technology systems and applications + Ability to obtain andmaintainvalid driver license + Ability to work long hours and rotational shifts, including over-time, weekend and holiday as needed + Ability to effectively communicate verbally and written + Ability to lift, push, pull up to 60 pounds, work in and outdoors, walk on uneven surfaces Employees can expect to be paid an hourly rate of$31.28.Additionalcompensation may include a bonus or commission (if relevant).Additionalbenefits include health care, vision, dental, retirement, PTO, sick leave, etc. This salary range is merely an estimate and may vary based on an applicant's location, market data/ranges, an applicant's skills and prior relevant experience, certain degrees and certifications, and other relevant factors.
